Woven Weedmat
Woven Weedmat is designed to suppress the growth of weeds by restricting sunlight to the soil whilst allowing water to still permeate to the undergrowth. This also reduces the need for harmful herbicides. We recommend a 50mm layer of mulch be added to further assist in the restriction of sunlight and for the longevity of the Weedmat, when using in gardens.
Woven Weedmat is a strong woven, UV stabilised polypropylene (PP) fabric therefore it is ideal for the use in high traffic areas in greenhouses, tunnel houses and nurseries.
Our black Woven Weedmat has blue marker lines every 300mm across the width and our Ultra White Weedmat has black marker lines 300mm across the width. ReflectorMat has no marker lines.

Non-Woven Weedmat
Empak’s Weedsafe Pro™ Non-Woven Weedmat suppresses the growth of weeds by restricting sunlight to the soil. It is strong, non-fraying and water permeable. Non-Woven Weedmat is a spunbonded, polypropylene (PP) fabric, manufactured on modern German machines using the latest technology, and tested for burst strength, water absorption and UV resistance. It is used extensively in professional landscaping and domestic gardens.
We recommend a 50mm layer of mulch to be added to further assist in the restriction of sunlight and for the longevity of the weedmat.
Non-Woven Weedmat is available 60gsm and 80gsm and in retail packs and bulk rolls.

Ultra White Weedmat
Ultra White Weedmat is a woven white 110gsm weedmat designed for use in greenhouses to suppress weed growth. It has light-reflecting qualities that enhance the growth of light-sensitive crops and its durability is suitable for walkable areas.
